Yep. Here I am. One of millions and millions of fitness related content out there in cyberspace. The internet is saturated with tips and tricks for living a healthy/fit lifestyle. And, that’s not a bad thing at all! It is more; what does yet another person have to offer this world. Well, maybe nothing, and maybe something. We all have a different approach to the same thing, and we connect to different people. Maybe a fitness blogger lives a more similar life to you, so you can relate. Or maybe you just like the workouts. Many different reasons we follow and take inspiration.
So…my approach which has been now for the past 4 years, is what they call, Hybrid. This is a mixture of running/strength training. For me this has given me the balance and drive to consistency, which we know is key to results. I don’t think ill ever be in the gym lifting, without doing any cardio. Cardio for me gives me that “high” we all crave, and strength facilitates me to be able to run without (hopefully, touch wood!) getting injured. To feel strong in every aspect of your body is my aim….
I also recently had baby, 13 January 2023 to be specific. I ran and strength trained throughout my pregnancy. Thankfully my body allowed me to do that. This helped me immensely with the strength required through pregnancy etc. Mentally just as much as physical.
So…what am I offering. Well I am currently doing my personal training qualification and this is everything I’m learning put onto the net. My thoughts, approaches. Anything really that I find works/doesn’t work. No one probably will read it, but I’m excited to start my new venture. Blank Fitness!
